William Macpherson

William (Bill) MacPherson, 79, a long time resident of Clark County, Washington, died July 19, 2022, after a long battle with cancer at his home in Vancouver, Washington with all his children and family by his side.
Bill was born to Vera Burton and Irvine Ruth MacPherson on March 28, 1943 in Vancouver, Washington.
He attended schools in the Vancouver area and graduated from Portland Adventist Academy.
He married Jean Stephens in 1961 and they shared 5 children together. He worked in construction for a few years and started Pacific Coast Awning in 1961, serving the Greater Pacific Northwest area.
He became a widower in 1989 and married his present wife Opal Pocha in 1994.
He was an Avid member of AA and Nicotine Anonymous and sponsored many people through both programs.
He is survived by his 5 children, Chuck (Liz) MacPherson, Terri (Dan) Davis, Sherri (Charlie) Kack, Rusty MacPherson and Carri (Jereme) Francis, stepdaughter Jaimie (Casey) Livingston, as well as 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. His sister Nancy (Paul) MacPherson, brother Jack (Carol) MacPherson, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. He will be greatly missed.
