Cecil Ferguson, 77, passed away of natural causes June 25, 2022, at his home in Kelso, Wash.
He was born in Natchitoches, La., to Audrey Montess Sandifer on Sept. 7, 1944. He served in the Army from 1963 to 1969. Cecil lived most of his adult life in Washington and resided at his home in Kelso for the past 26 years. He retired in 2007 after 14 years in the maintenance department at FedEx Ground. In his free time and in his retirement, he enjoyed fishing and camping.
Cecil was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Cecil Ferguson; his mother, Audrey Montess Sandifer; a brother, Charles Russell Flanigan; and a sister, Sammie Jean Dujon.
He is survived by two siblings, Carolyn Sue England Caldwell and Roy Gayland Flanagan; four children, Ben Ferguson, Audrey Ferguson, Talmage Cecil Ferguson II, and Kirsten Marie Riley; and six grandchildren.
A private family gathering will be held in his honor.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park & Crematory.
