Robert Ashley Lundin Jr., 77, of Woodland, Wash., passed away peacefully in his sleep Sept. 25, 2022, at home.
He was born Nov. 22, 1944, in Orange, Calif., to Robert A. Lundin Sr., and Nancy (Kremin) Lundin. Bob graduated from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, Calif., in 1966. He was a Philosophy Major, had a Doctorate in History and also attended Seminary. He was a humble God-fearing man, always loving, caring and conscientious
Bob worked for Fullerton Police Department, Hughes Aircraft, Savannah School District, and the Cerritos Performing Arts Center.
He married Gayle L. Presson in Long Beach, Calif., June 17, 1966. They moved to the Pacific Northwest 11 years ago. Gayle passed away March 28, 2019.
Bob enjoyed educational reading, chess, camping, and traveling with Gayle throughout the Pacific Northwest and Canada.
Survivors include a son, Jonathan Lundin of Fullerton, Calif.; and a daughter-in-Law, Lucy Lundin of Anaheim, Calif. Both moved to Woodland, Wash., to be near Robert.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, at Faith Fellowship Lutheran Brethren Church, with Pastor Ben Breslin officiating. A reception will follow.
