Lorene Marie Davis

Lorene Marie Davis, 81, of Longview went home to the Lord January 11, 2023.

She was born in Hughson, California to Albert and Leona Smith on August 1, 1941.

On June 19, 1957, she married John Davis in San Andreas, California. After living in California for many years, they returned to John’s hometown. Lorene was a home maker raising her four boys, eventually working as Manager at Jack in the Box.

Lorene loved time with her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach. Lorene was an avid book reader, the Bible being her favorite. Lorene was very immersed in her church Faith Family Christian Center. She and her late husband loved doing long road trips on their motorcycle. Lorene enjoyed playing cards and her walking group at Campus Towers.

Lorene is survived by her four sons Don (Teresa), Tom (Veronica), Carl (Sylvia) and Rick (Cheryl); sister Dona (Dick) and brother Leroy (Phyllis). 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Davis and two brothers, Wade and Silas Smith.

A viewing is planned for Friday January 27 from 10 AM to 5 PM at Steele Chapel. Private burial will take place on Saturday January 28th at Longview Memorial Park. A celebration of Lorene’s life is planned for Saturday January 28th at 1 PM at Faith Family Christian Center.
