Born on 27 February 1946 in Ogden Utah to Elmo William Lomax and DeOn Bills Lomax.
Larry Graduated from Clearfield high School in 1964; Attended Weber State College in Ogden, Ut; Received Associates Degree in Business Administration from Lower Columbia College in Longview, WA.
Larry was Drafted in June of 1966 and was sent to Fort Bliss in Texas where he completed Basic Training, he was a Squad Leader during his time a Fort Bliss.
After leaving Texas was sent to Fort Sill Oklahoma to receive training as a Fire Direction Computer operator for Artillery. Fort Bragg North Carolina was the next stop where he was with the 7th Battalion 15th Artillery, In June 1967 his Battalion was shipped out to Vietnam where he spent the next year.
He received a Honorable Discharge in June 1968 and Army Commendation Medal for time served in Vietnam.
He married Connie Jones they later divorced.
He married Pamla Eby Ernst.
He is survived by His wife of over 34 years Pamla Eby Lomax;
Children - Troy (Amy) Lomax of Cathlamet, WA; Bryan (Ellene) Lomax of Longview, WA; Shane (Aubrey) Lomax of Layton, UT; Justin Lomax of Rainier, OR; Brett Lomax of Kelso, WA; and Shalene Lomax (Austin) Woolett of Grantsville, UT;
Step-Children – Michelle Ernst (Rex) Reber of Oakland, OR; Marsha Ernst of Suquamish, WA; and Mark (Julie) Ernst of Grantsville, UT.
Brother David (Char) Lomax of Arizona, Sister Kay Lomax Hover of Layton Utah. Mother-in-law Elsie Eby of Ogden, UT, Sister-in-law Diane Eby of Ogden, UT and Brother-in-law Mark (Nancy) Eby of Pasco, WA.
He leaves 22 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews:
He was proceeded in death by his Parents Elmo William Lomax and DeOn Bills Lomax;
Brothers - Howard Lomax and Kenneth Lomax.
Sister - Sharon Lomax Hansen.
