Joseph Allen Clarke

Joseph Allen Clarke, 39, of Longview passed away unexpectedly Aug. 16, 2023, at home.

He was born Oct. 1, 1983, in Modesto, Calif., to Robert Dale and Jennifer (George) Clarke. The family moved to the local area in 1989. His parents divorced and Joseph was raised by his mother and stepfather, Mark Beebe in Longview. He attended Mark Morris High School and R.A. Long High School.

Joseph was a member of Special Olympics and enjoyed playing basketball, football at R.A. Long, and Little League baseball. He particularly enjoyed watching professional wrestling with his “Wrestling Buddies” action figures. Joseph was curious and asked a lot of questions. He was happy-go-lucky and had a fondness for music and coffee.

Survivors include his mother, Jennifer Beebe at home; his father, Mark Beebe of Longview; his birth father, Robert Clarke of Kelso; a sister, Sarah Ruth George in California; his grandmother, Frances Elsie Khinoo of Turlock, Calif.; two uncles, Aaron McDaniels of Longview and Mike Beebe in Washington; and two aunts, Marcy Jones and Dianna Force, both of Vancouver, Wash.

Joseph was preceded in death by His grandparents, Paul George, and Merle and Aldeen Beebe; and a close family friend, Dave Smith.

Family and friends are welcome to pay their final respects during a viewing planned from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29 at Steele Chapel.
