Dean Jaye Lemke

December 23, 1961 — June 16, 2022

Dean Jaye Lemke of Longview, Wash., passed away June 16, 2022, at the age of 60. After many years of health struggles Dean passed away at home with his wife Pam and his dog Teddy by his side.

He was born Dec 23, 1961, in Port Jervis, N.Y., but lived and grew up across the river in Matamoras, Penn., with his parents, three brothers, three sisters and numerous family members in that area.

Dean married Pamela Waddle of Gloversville, N.Y. on Aug. 20,1981, in Incirlik,Turkey for the legal wedding and again on Sept. 10, 1981, for the traditional one on the lncirlik Air Force base where they were both stationed at the time. Dean and Pam were married for 40 years.

Dean was a USAF Security Forces Officer and later cross-trained to become a jet engine mechanic. Dean served honorably in the Air Force for 12 years from 1980- 1992. Once he was out of the military, he moved to Lapine, Ore., and ran a hot tub business. After that he became a jack-of-all-trades. Nothing was too much for him to handle. Dean loved working on cars, fishing, computer games, especially Texas Hold'em, Chess and flight simulators.

Dean was goofy and a jokester. He was a devoted family man and loved his kids and grandkids to the moon and back. Dean will always be loved and missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Margaret (Hissam) Lemke; his brother, Donald Lemke; and his in-laws, Orman and Dorothy (Becker) Waddle.

Dean is survived by his wife, Pamela (Waddle) Lemke; his son, Wally Lemke; three daughters, Rebecca Lemke (Brent Wilson), Krisy Click (Chris), and Stephanie Lemke; four grandchildren, Tristan Lemke, Ryan Click, Ferris Click and Brittany King; three sisters, Donna, Deanna Lemke Dumas, and Dana Martinez; two brothers, Derek (Christine) Lemke, and Darryl Lemke; a brother-in-law, Stanley Waddle; and many nieces and nephews. Dean is also survived by two canine companions of eight years, Teddy and Molly.

At his request, no service will be held.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park.
